Rudranath
The Rudranath temple is believed to be established by the Pandavs. the heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharat. Legend has it that the Pandavas came to the Himalayan mountains in search of god Shiva, to redeem them of the sins of killing in the epic Kurukshetra war. God Shiva did not want to meet them and left in form of a bull in the ground and re-entered in parts in the Panch Kedar places: the hump raising in Kedarnath, the arms appearing in Tunganath, the navel and stomach surfacing in Madhyamaheswar, the face showing up at Rudranath and the hair and the head appearing in Kalpeshwar. In winter, a symbolic image of Shiva is brought to Gopinath Mandir in Gopeshwar for worship. The Doli Yatra starts from Gopeshwar via Sagar. The Doli Yatris cross Lyuti Bugyal and Panar and finally reach Pitradhar. The worship of ancestors is done here. Then, after crossing Dhalabni Maidan, the Doli or the symbolic image of Shiva, reaches Rudranath.Here first the Vandevi is worshipped. The local belief is that Vandevi protects the area. The Kheshtra is protected by Vandevi or Vandevatas. The temple celebrates an annual fair on the full Moon day in the Hindu Month of Sravan (July–August) that is mostly on the day of Rakshabandhan. The fair is attended mainly by locals. The priests at the Rudranath temple are Bhatts and Tiwaris of Gopeshwar.
Day 1 :
Haridwar – Gopeshwar – Sagar (244km/08-09hrs Approx)
We will meet Haridwar and Process to Sagar via chamoli – Gopeshwar Road, we will Start in Early Morning approx 5.00am and then We will Process to 1st step of our Dream Destination, on Route visit Devprayag sangam, and Rudraprayag Sangam, then Process to Sagar, check inn into hotel/Camp over night stay sagar.
Day 2 :
Sagar – Panar Bugyal – Rudranath (20km Trek)
Today early Morning after Breakfast and we will Start our Trek with Packed Lunch the 1st Step of this Trek in panar bugyal, Panar Bugyal is Very Beautiful place in this Trek, After That Process to Rudranath, Darshan Pooja, Night stay in Rudranath.
Day 3 :
Rudranath – Panar Bugyal – Sagar- Mandal – Rudraprayag
Today darshan of Rudranath ji and enjoy Morning waves we will Process to Back to Sagar with Packed lunch by Trek. After Reach Sagar We will Process to Rudraprayag Check inn into hotel Dinner and over night stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 4 :
Rudraprayag – Haridwar
Today Morning after Breakfast we will check out From hotel and process to Haridwar, on Route visit Maa Dhari Devi temple then travelling to Haridwar For drop, we will Drop You Haridwar Railway station and your hotel. Services end here…
